Precious Materials

Gold

Gold is a soft, malleable and ductile metal that can be easily shaped. We mix gold with other alloys to strengthen and increase the durability of the product.

Depending on the carat of gold used, the vibrance of the gold will change from a bright yellow to a pale yellow tone.

Rose gold jewellery is a combination of gold, silver and copper alloys. Increased copper to silver, gives rose gold it intense pinky colour tone.

Gold has been used in civilisations for over 5000 years. It was once associated with power and culture. However, gold now resembles positivity, wisdom, compassion and love.

Shaping Gold Ring

Rhodium

Rhodium is considered to be the rarest and most valuable precious element that can be 10 to 25 times more expensive than gold. This material signifies purity and wealth.

Rhodium is a member of the platinum group of metals and is silver-hued, highly reflective and does not tarnish or corrode. It is harder than gold, highly durable and scratch resistant.

It is especially attractive when used for diamond rings, as it can really enhance the brilliance of the diamond or cubic zirconia. Most rhodium plating has a thickness of .75 to 1.0 microns.

Rhodium plating is hypoallergenic, you won’t get skin reactions by wearing rhodium plated jewellery. This is because rhodium does not contain any allergens such as nickel.

Silver

Known as a precious soft metal and white in colour, silver is often alloyed with harder metals to give it more strength, durability and resistance to everyday wear and tear.

Sterling Silver (s925), is a combination of 92.5% silver and 7.5% of other metals, commonly copper resulting in a lustful, shiny and elegant finish.

Sterling Silver often have an oxidised finish that highlights delicate details.

This process imitates a tarnishing process that naturally happens to all silver over time giving it a darker colour.

For many years, silver is the traditional twenty-fifth wedding anniversary gift for your loved ones. Silver now symbolises harmony, elegance, and peace.

Diamond Necklace

Man-made and Synthetic Stones

These are artificial stones crafted in laboratories creating an endless array of colourful stones and hard compositions. They are a lasting tribute to our beautiful natural gemstones, such as the vibrant red from a ruby or a deep crystal blue from a sapphire.

The Cubic Zirconia is the most commonly used stone within our jewellery. Cubic Zirconia is grown under intense heat in a controlled environment for it to create the perfect crystals. Still flawless like a diamond, these stones are lighter in colour but a little less vibrant, however a beautiful alternative; meaning strength, love and health

Nano Crystals are beautiful and strong with a multitude of colours. They are engineered to create the optical effects normally only seen in natural stones.
